About Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit is the permanent racing facility on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, and the home of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. As the venue that closes the Formula 1 season, it has become one of the most recognisable circuits on the calendar, known for its twilight race that begins in daylight and finishes under floodlights.

The track threads past the marina and the island's hotels, with grandstands arranged around the lap to overlook the start-finish straight, the pit complex, and several of the circuit's signature corners. Yas Island lies roughly 30 kilometres from central Abu Dhabi and only a short drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport, which sits on the mainland just across from the island. Yas Island is connected to central Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and the airport by main highways and is well signposted from every direction. Most spectators arrive by car, taxi, or ride-hailing, with on-island parking opened for the race weekend and dedicated event shuttles commonly running to the circuit.
