Etihad Park is the open-air concert ground on Yas Island where the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend carries on after the cars stop. The racing runs from 3 to 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit; in the evenings, once the track sessions are over, headline artists take the stage here for the after-race concerts.

In most cases a concert is a separate ticket from the race. Some race packages may include concert entry, depending on how the organiser sets up the weekend, so check what your ticket covers on its event page before assuming either way.

The ground hosts marquee one-night shows rather than a weekly programme, so for most visitors it is somewhere reached only on a concert night — usually straight from a day at the circuit.

The ground is on the same island as the circuit and a short hop from it, which is what makes a race-and-concert day workable: there is no cross-city transfer between the last session and the first song. Yas Island sits on the north-eastern edge of Abu Dhabi, about 30 km from the city centre.

Abu Dhabi International Airport is on the mainland just opposite, so fans flying in for the weekend reach the island quickly. December nights in the open air are mild and dry; once the sun has gone and a breeze picks up, a thin layer is welcome by the end of the show.

On race weekend the island carries two crowds at once — spectators leaving the circuit and fans arriving for the concert — and access roads are run by event traffic management. Leave more time than the distance suggests.

• From the circuit — if you have spent the day at the race, you are already on the island; follow the organiser's signage and staff for moving between the circuit and the concert, as the routes are set for the weekend
• Taxi and ride-hailing — city taxis, Careem and Uber drop at designated points on Yas Island; after the encore those points get crowded, so be ready to wait
• By car — extra parking opens on the island for the Grand Prix; getting out after a full concert takes a while
• Shuttles — event transport to Yas Island commonly runs through the weekend; final routes are announced by the organiser and Yas Island shortly before the date

For a headline set on a race night, arriving about 90 minutes early leaves time for the security line and for finding your area.

As an open-air ground, Etihad Park is set up for each event: the stage, the audience areas and the ticket categories are defined by the promoter for that show, and the event page lists what is on sale and what each option includes.

Food and drink outlets, toilets and accessibility support are provided across the site on concert nights; cards and phone payments work almost everywhere in Abu Dhabi. Anyone who needs assisted access should confirm arrangements with the organiser for the specific date.

Entry is through bag and body screening. Bulky bags, professional camera gear and food or drink brought from outside are usually refused; the binding rules for each concert are on its event page.

Race weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for hotels on Yas Island, and rooms near the circuit go first. Staying in central Abu Dhabi, about 30 km from Yas, or on Saadiyat Island is the usual fallback.

Free hours between sessions can go to Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld or Yas Mall on the island, and a day in the city takes in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Corniche and Louvre Abu Dhabi.
